Richard Clay的论文本身比片子好多了。感觉这位历史学家内心住着一个super star，时时无意义的穿插自己的皮鞋和裤脚的特写和各种pose实在是太好笑了。
有意思的纪录片，从雕像与建筑的破坏的角度来反映当时底层对压迫己久的皇权和宗教的反击。一段1789前后的hidden history。从法国大革命的毁像到现代的推翻塑像或是街头涂鸦，都是反抗意愿的象征。想起了香港的“九龙皇帝”，也是用一种文字涂鸦的方式表达诉求与不满。
